Hi, I'm Steph Schoyer and I am passionate about taking photos and making art! Over the past 25+ years I've covered weddings, births, family portraits, music festivals and everything in between! When I am taking portraits my favorite way to capture images is in a photojournalistic style, I like it best when my subjects are so relaxed they forget that I am even there - those are the best photos!

I was born and raised in St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. After spending 3 years in Southwest Louisiana I decided to return to my tiny island which had just been battered & wrecked by two back-to-back Cat 5 hurricanes. I packed my cameras, flashlights (the island had not yet had power restored), mosquito repellent, my unique sense of humor and came home. I am SO EXCITED to be back!

I no longer do commercial photography these days, choosing instead to focus on my own artistic & creative endeavors which will always include photography along with mixed media art and other mediums as they catch my fancy!
